1. ForgeBot and privacy requests

ForgeBot is operated as an independent community service. Authorized clan leadership can submit privacy or data-related requests through Command Center → Support inside Discord. Where additional provider information must be supplied before a paid agreement is entered into, that information is presented in the subscription confirmation flow.

2. Data we process

Depending on the features your server uses, ForgeBot may process Discord user IDs, guild/server IDs, usernames or display names, configured leadership roles, module settings, clan-management data, player performance/history data, resource and war records, warnings, absence information, support tickets and technical logs.

For subscriptions, ForgeBot stores PayPal subscription identifiers, plan/status information and related billing metadata. ForgeBot does not receive or store your PayPal password, full card number or bank login credentials.

3. Why we process it

We process data to provide ForgeBot's features, keep clan configuration synchronized, provide support, secure and troubleshoot the service, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse and improve reliability.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, processing may be based on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing ForgeBot, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where consent is specifically required.

5. Service providers

ForgeBot relies on third-party services including Discord for bot/server functionality and PayPal for paid subscriptions. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical data as necessary to operate the service.

6. Retention

Operational clan data is generally retained while a server uses ForgeBot so history and configuration remain available. After an approved deletion request, data that is not required for legal, security or accounting reasons will be deleted or anonymized. Backup copies may remain for a limited backup-retention period before expiring automatically.

7. Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal data. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

8. Security

ForgeBot uses access controls, role-based permissions, restricted infrastructure access, database backups and monitoring to protect service data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated when ForgeBot's features, providers or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
